Stephen Tomkinson

We are delighted to announce the arrival of a new Pro at Feldon Valley; Stephen Tomkinson, PGA Professional. In these new, exciting times for the business, we are looking forward to Stephen bringing his experience and enthusiasm to Feldon Valley.

Stephen spent his early career as the assistant professional at Olton Golf Club in Solihull, before moving on to Hatchford Brook Golf Club in Birmingham, where he spent seven years as head teaching professional. This is also where he completed his PGA foundation degree.

As a PGA golf professional, a great deal of Stephens time has been devoted to delivering his golf lessons to players of all abilities. His aim is to enhance the pupil's enjoyment and on-course performance by keeping his lessons SIMPLE, EFFECTIVE and MEMORABLE. Stephen has worked with top coaches such as Gary Allis and Alistair Davies and offers both individual and group lessons.

Stephen also enters both regional and midland competitions as well as playing in Pro-Ams. Members are more than welcome to put forward their name to enter these with him.

As well as running lessons, Stephen will be working for the Club to improve communication with the members, managing the Golf Shop and liaising with the Green Keepers to improve the Course all round. Together with Stephen's experience, we will be investing time and money into building up a strong junior programme to encourage younger people to get into the sport.

Stephen will be joining the team full time from 1st May. He will be available for lessons from this time, please book in the Pro Shop or directly with Stephen. Lesson fees are as follows:

• 30 minutes - £18
• 45 minutes - £25
• 1 hour playing lessons - £30
• 2 hours playing lessons - £50
• 6 lessons for the price of 5
